Training
CRM training
Apart from meeting the minimum legal requirements CRM training can be an excellent vehicle to establish a firm bond between a company’s operational departments and the pilot group. CRM training by QST will aim to establish this bond.
In order to achieve this, for pilots it is imperative to develop a competence (or have this competence confirmed) which allows them to make balanced decisions. Balanced in this regard would mean: taking into account safety as well as economics and passenger comfort.
Training content as well as structure will be tailored, within the limits of regulations, in order to meet the requirements of a pilot/cabin attendant in his/her specific working environment and aircraft type.
Safety Management Training
It is essential for people working in a high risk industry like aviation, to understand the system of safety management, the risk factors, human factors and organizational consequences. We have given Safety Management Training in many companies and organizations working in different industries.
Quality System Training
Although Quality Systems and Quality Assurance are generally known in aviation industries, some times there is a need for clarification or more in-depth understanding of the systems in use.
Projects
CRM training projects
QST is training Cabin and Cockpit crew with two operators, one flying B747 airplanes and another flying Dash8 and F50.
Pilots are becoming scarce, for airlines it is sometimes better to hire CRM trainers from outside instead of using their own pilots as trainers. And also it is sometimes better to have trainers from the outside as they are independent and more able to start the discussion on safety issues and culture.
QST is performing a CRM train the trainer program with a Dutch operator. All TRI and TRE will be trained.
